Idea
In this article, you will learn how to customize your Check-in Setup for your event through the A2Z event dashboard. There are many features that allow you to fully customize your setup within the kiosk interface.

To configure the appearance of the check-in kiosks, navigate to: Badge Printing > Check-in Setup.


Full-Size View

Click the Full-size view tab to preview each page of the kiosk app.

 

Global Settings

Alert Error Message

A generic message that appears when an error occurs. In some cases, additional details about the error may also be shown. 


Participant List Fields

Defines which fields are displayed in the participant list table in the onsite admin app. 

 

Global Body Font Styles

Set the font, size, boldness, and color for general text (excluding headings and error messages).

 

Global Button Styles

Controls the appearance of all buttons, including border color, radius, thickness, font, font size, and font weight. These settings also apply to form fields.

 

Bypass the first page of Kiosk

Determine to display the first page of the kiosk or move to the second page of the kiosk. 

 

Display Event Banner

Determines whether to display the event banner image (set in the Event Overview) on the kiosk pages.

 

Field Attribute List

Specifics which badge fields are required and editable. 

 

Global Header Styles

Controls the font, color, size, and boldness of all page headers.

 

Registration Types that cannot be printed from a kiosk

Specifies which registration types can only be printed from the onsite admin app.

 

If uploaded, the global sponsor logo will appear in the bottom right corner of every page, unless a specific page has a custom sponsor logo that overrides it.


 

Global Subheader Styles

Controls the font, color, size, and boldness of subheaders across all pages.

 

Page Specific Settings

Each page allows customization of the following: Background color, Background image (overrides background color if present), Header text, Subheader text, and Sponsor logo (overrides global sponsor logo).

Enable First Name Last Name Lookup

Allows users to check in using their first and last name.

 

Enable QR Code Lookup

Allow users to check in using their QR Code.


Page 3:

Custom Verbiage Blocks

Let’s you configure up to three blocks of custom text (e.g., terms and conditions, waivers). Users must agree to the terms (via button click) before printing their badge. 


Enable Badge Field Editing

Enables badge field text editing and font size adjustments.
