Import Access to a Session

IdeaAccess control allows for specific participants to be able to attend a session. This feature is helpful for sessions that have capacity limits and/or require participants to sign up to attend. 

To import access to a session, follow the steps below:

  1. In the left-side navigation, click the arrow next to Attendance Tracking to open the menu
  2. Click Manage Sessions
  3. Next to the session you wanted to upload access for, click the three dots
  4. Click View Scans
  5. Click the Import Sessions button
  6. Click the Upload Spreadsheet button to upload a file
    • Only Email and Access (Y/N) are required fields
  7. Choose your import mode
    • Recommendation: Import based on email
  8. Map the fields
  9. Click Start Import 

Notes
Upon completion, you will receive a report on the success of the import and an error message for any data that failed to be imported.
