The RegTech Badge Builder allows you to create and edit badge templates for printing without needing third-party software. It provides an easy, flexible way to design event badges using your contracted printer sizes.
To create a badge, follow these steps:
In the left-side navigation, click on the arrow next to Badge Printing to open the menu
Click Upload & Edit Badges
In the Select Size tab, click the Use This Size button within the badge size you want to use
Tip: Deselect printers you're not contracted with to avoid choosing incompatible sizes
In the pop up, in section 1, click the Create with A2Z Events Badge Editor option to open the badge editor
Design the Badge
Use the badge editor to add images, fields and shapes.
Step 1: Add artwork to accurately use available space on the badge.
Click the Add Image button
Choose to upload:
Image: will print on the badge
Non-printable Image: will not print on the badge (useful for pre-printed stock)
Images automatically resize to badge width
Step 2: Add text fields (dynamic content)
Click the Add Text Field button to expand a menu of commonly used fields
Select a listed field or click Custom to add custom fields created in the Participants section
The selected field will appear in the top left corner of the badge and can be customized
Text in {{double curly brackets}} is a merge field and will be replaced with participant data.
