Referral Tracking Codes

The Promote tool allows you to create custom referral tracking links that can be shared with partners or specific audiences to monitor visitor engagement.

To set up a referral tracking code, follow the steps below:

1. Choose the event from the company dashboard
2. In the left-side navigation, click the down arrow next to the Registration module to expand the menu options
3. Click Promote
4. Click the New Referral Tracking Link button
5. In the How would you like to create your referral code? field choose an option
   a. System Generatedb. Create My Own
6. Label the code in the Label field
7. Add a description of the code in the Description box
8. Click Create
9. Click the copy icon next to the URL link to share it with the desired audience

Metric available:

• Visitors - a participant clicks on the custom link on the designated page
• Engagement - displays the number of people who have started registration using the referral code shared
• Completed registration - registrations that have been completed using the referral code
• Revenue - revenue generated by this referral code
